Fatum SG caught one sucker, lost a trout that snapped the line jumping out of the water ..... 250 kilometers, 5am to 5pm .... no troutie ...... .........
Fatum SG it was a barbless fly, but I hope it's not too deep .... the line snapped as the trout was leaping .... the smelly sucker was released after much cursing ......
the Bear SG should get those that disintegrate after a day or something... still, i'm not into fishing unless you're going to eat the fish... still think of it as torturing the fish for sport..
Rhonda SG Helloooo, everyone! The server's slow here. Just had quite a dramatic morning with female patients who were addicted to their pain meds / depressed / schizo / bipolar / just plain testy. Thank goodness I worked with a wonderful European lady and between the two of us, we managed to preserve each other's sanity. So, how's everyone?
choco B SG A mouth-watering spread of traditional German food, along with great tasting Erdinger wheat beer, will also be available at special prices. Ticket price includes a choice of a delicious 3-course meal and an Erdinger beer. http://www.sistic.com.sg/cms/events/index.html?content=442 Hmm buying tickets to dine... Good? Bad ? Or just tacky?
choco B SG You are! Have you been previous years, or is this the first year they're having this ? First time I heard of this event so didn't know what to expect
Rhonda SG Food!! Guess I'll cross over to the li'l Jap/Korean restaurant after work and have the Korean Bibimbap or the Japanese Sukiyaki Beef Bento Set or the Jap Chilli Chicken Bento. This afternoon, a colleague opened the door to the tea room and proclaimed that my lunch (Potato Gnocchi with Carbonara Sauce & Seasonal Vegetables) smelled so nice, he wants me to bring a portion for him the next time I cook! Heeeeelp!! Pressure, man!!
Rhonda SG He's a really nice bloke. I don't mind cooking an extra portion for him cause he's one of the most helpful peeps around, unlike the rest, who'll talk sweetly and say the 'right stuff' but when you actually ask them to help, they have oh so many excuses! (Politely-worded, of course! ) He has assured me that he loves asian food and can 'take the heat' so I'm thinking... hmm... my satay chicken next? (And I won't hold back on the chilli! )
